"account": "Rajya Sabha MP Ramdas Athawale questioned Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's need to resign in response to protests. He was speaking during a visit to Anantnag district in South Kashmir on October 11th. Athawale was addressing members of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), a group that had previously protested over the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination paper leaks. Athawale claimed the group had demanded Pradhan's resignation during that controversy, and that it had been accepted. He then asked why the CJP was now seeking Kumar's resignation, particularly over allegations of \"vote chori\". Athawale argued that the Election Commission works independently and transparently, and that political parties should not evaluate election bodies differently based on election outcomes. He reiterated that peaceful protest was a democratic right, but warned against violence.",
