"account": "The Malaysian air force is on track to receive a batch of FA-50M light combat aircraft manufactured by Korea Aerospace Industries, according to Defence Minister Khaled Nordin. The exact date of delivery has not been announced yet but is expected to occur either this month or next. So far, there have been no reports of any delays in the delivery process. In May 2023, Malaysia and Korea Aerospace signed a contract worth approximately RM4 billion for 18 FA-50 Block 20 light combat aircraft, which are designated as FA-50M specifically for Malaysia. These advanced aircraft surpass the capabilities of existing FA-50s operated by the Korean air force and other countries, such as Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia. In June, the Malaysian air force had stated that two jets were set to arrive in October, with the remaining aircraft to be delivered in stages through March 2028.",
