"account": "A woman, 41-year-old Samantha Jane Schubert, has been refused bail after allegedly assaulting her temporary housemate with a samurai knife and stealing her vehicle. The incident occurred in Canberra's south, where Ms Schubert is accused of striking the victim with the samurai knife, causing injury to her left ring finger. The victim managed to retreat and called emergency services while Ms Schubert allegedly fled with her car. Police apprehended Ms Schubert around 2:30am on Sunday, and her car was found nearby approximately half an hour later. Charged with endangering life, actual bodily harm, theft of a motor vehicle, and three breaches of a good behaviour order, Ms Schubert faces a lengthy criminal history, including dishonesty and driving offenses. Special Magistrate Lucinda Wilson deemed the incident extremely serious and violent, citing Ms Schubert's history of non-compliance with court appearances as a significant risk.",
