"account": "A pastor, aged 36, faces court on charges of murdering a four-month-old infant and raping his mother. The man, described as a pastor, is set to appear in Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 12 October 2026, alongside his two wives. Police discovered him hiding in a back room at an informal settlement in Diepsloot during the weekend, marking the arrest of three suspects connected to the incident. The arrest follows police finding the infant's body in a shallow grave near the Hennops River in Pretoria, where the woman and baby were allegedly taken for a ritual. The pastor is accused of raping the 43-year-old woman before leaving the infant with his wives. The Gauteng Provincial Government condemned the horrific crime, with Premier Panyaza Lesufi describing the act as \"savage barbarism\" that has deeply affected the province.",
