"summary": "Heavy rainfall in Ranau and Kundasang has triggered flash floods and landslides, resulting in significant disruption to transportation and injury to a motorcyclist. The police chief of Ranau district reported landslides at Kampung Dumpiring Bawah and Kampung Sinisian, while flash floods affected roads in various areas of Kundasang. A Perodua Kancil was overturned near a landslide area in Kampung Sinisian, and another vehicle became trapped in a landslide at Kampung Gorowot, leaving the main route impassable. The Kundasang Civil Defence operations unit monitored fast-flowing muddy water carrying rocks and soil across a road in Kundasang Lama, as well as water overflow affecting a resident's house. A motorcyclist involved in a separate road accident was taken to Ranau Hospital for treatment. Authorities have urged residents and motorists to remain vigilant and avoid flood- and landslide-prone routes, while police and Civil Defence personnel continue monitoring the affected areas.",
