"account": "Pakistan’s star hockey players Abu Bakar Mahmood and Ahmad Nadeem are set to showcase their talents in foreign leagues, according to recent reports. Mahmood, Pakistan’s hockey captain, will be donning the Melbourne Cobras jersey in Australia’s Hockey One League. The club, making its debut this season, will feature Mahmood in seven matches starting mid-October. As a defender and drag-flick specialist, Mahmood has been representing Pakistan at various levels, making his international debut in 2014 and leading the team at the Asian Games in Japan.\n\nOn the other hand, Ahmad Nadeem, a national team player, is headed to France to join Hockey Club de Nantes. Nadeem, familiar with French club hockey, will play six matches over the next one and a half months. He has a previous stint with French clubs Douai and Lambersart, and currently plays alongside Pakistan defender Sufyan Khan. Nadeem, who has represented Pakistan in major tournaments like the FIH Pro League, Asian Champions Trophy, and the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup, shared that playing with international athletes has helped him improve his game and understand European hockey better.\n\nDespite playing in foreign leagues, both players will continue their association with Pakistan’s national hockey setup. Their move to overseas leagues comes amid ongoing national commitments, showcasing their dedication to the sport beyond the borders.",
