"summary": "The Russia Emergency Ministry has dispatched a delegation to Pyongyang to explore opportunities for enhancing disaster management cooperation between the two nations, according to North Korea's state media. The delegation, headed by Russian Minister of Extraordinary Situations Aleksandr Kurenkov, arrived in the North on Sunday and was welcomed by Kim Chol-nam, the country's Minister of Disaster Management, as well as Vladimir Topekha, the Russian Embassy's charge d'affaires ad interim. This is not the first visit by this delegation; they had previously toured Pyongyang in July 2023, where they toured disaster prevention and response facilities and discussed joint initiatives in science and technology. Relations between Pyongyang and Moscow have strengthened across various sectors, including military and economic collaborations, following a series of summits between their respective leaders in September 2023 and June 2024. The recent visit follows the signing of an agreement between the two countries' ministries in December, focusing on professional training and scientific and technical collaboration.",
