"account": "Running back David Montgomery of the Houston Texans suffered a groin injury during the first half of their game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, September 13, 2026, and he was not expected to return to the field. Montgomery, who started the game in the Texans' backfield, only tackled five times before being substituted in the second quarter. He was officially ruled out for the remainder of the match in the third quarter, finishing with a modest total of 11 yards on those carries. The Texans had acquired Montgomery in a trade from the Detroit Lions in March, hoping his physical presence would bolster their running game. Despite a two-touchdown performance in their season opener against the Bills, Montgomery's production has been inconsistent since, with just 78 yards on 32 carries and no touchdowns after Week 1. As Montgomery watches from the sidelines, Woody Marks, a second-year player from USC, has taken over his role, accumulating 49 yards on 12 carries and 21 receiving yards on three catches during the Titans' third quarter.",
