"account": "Las Vegas quarterback Kirk Cousins delivered a \"weird\" pregame speech to his Raiders teammates before facing off against the New England Patriots. The Michigan State alumnus informed his teammates, \"I had options in the offseason,\" before emphasizing his desire to play alongside them. After the speech, Cousins has proven his value for the team, throwing 11 touchdown passes in Week 5 alone. NBC Sports suggests that if this continues, he could join the MVP conversation, potentially winning his first MVP award at 38, following Matthew Stafford's win a year earlier.\n\nNot everyone was impressed by Cousins' pregame antics. One person on X jokingly said, \"Kirk acting like he's prime Tom Brady.\" Formerly part of the Atlanta Falcons, Cousins had a \"life-giving\" FaceTime conversation with Brady, a minority owner of the Raiders, before signing with the team. Cousins stated, \"I made sure to do my homework before signing somewhere,\" revealing that Brady's call was one of several conversations he had with representatives of the Raiders organization.",
