"account": "Kolkata: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has introduced an innovative 'drop box' system for selecting candidates in the upcoming Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) election. During a press conference, BJP MP and Minister of State, along with the civic election in-charge Sukanta Majumdar, announced the initiative. The drop boxes will be stationed at the party's old headquarters located at 6, Muralidhar Sen Lane. Majumdar appealed to the public, particularly the youth, to submit their resumes to become BJP's candidates, emphasizing the need for a clean image and transparency. The ward count of KMC has increased to 209 following the delimitation process, up from the previous 144. Majumdar noted that the BJP will contest in all 209 seats under the 'Lotus' symbol. The party's state president has clearly stated that the BJP will contest independently, rejecting any alliance with other parties. In the past five months, the BJP has undertaken several significant measures to revitalize Kolkata, which had been transformed into a \"dead city\" by the Left Front and dominated by corruption by the Trinamool Congress (TMC).",
