"account": "Universal/Blumhouse-Atomic Monster's \"Other Mommy\" is currently leading the box office with a $27.5 million opening on a mid-October weekend. The only film making more than $12 million during this period, \"The Social Reckoning\" by Sony/Columbia/Alcon is struggling, only grossing less than a third of its predecessor, \"The Social Network's\" opening weekend. Made on a $19 million budget, \"Other Mommy\" stars Jessica Chastain as a mom who discovers a sinister doppelganger of herself haunting her daughter. Despite the film's low budget, it's expected to clear its break-even point theatrically, having also grossed $17.6 million overseas from 50 markets for a $45 million start. However, \"Other Mommy\" has faced poor critical and audience reception, including a D+ CinemaScore, the lowest grade since Francis Ford Coppola's \"Megalopolis\" two years ago. As a result, the film is experiencing steep box office drops, with \"Digger\" and \"Verity\" also suffering 64% second weekend drops due to weak audience scores and the upcoming Halloween horror competition. Meanwhile, \"The Social Reckoning\" is currently at No. 5 on the box office charts, having grossed just $5.5 million domestically this weekend, and facing challenges in attracting audiences due to mixed reviews. The overall theatrical business is slowly declining, with this weekend's total sinking to an estimated $88-90 million, down from last weekend's $100 million.",
