"summary": "The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of candidates for the 2027 elections. According to Punch, the APC and PDP have expressed confidence in winning the 2027 Plateau governorship election following the release of a final list of 17 candidates, which includes Mutfwang and 16 others. In a separate matter, Punch Nigeria reports that Ogun PDP governorship candidate Oladipupo Adebutu has urged supporters to remain calm after his name was omitted from the INEC candidates list.\n\nDaily Post Nigeria reports that the final list for the 2027 presidential election features 18 candidates and their running mates. The list, signed by INEC Secretary Rose Oriaran-Anthony, includes Bola Tinubu of the APC, Atiku Abubakar of the ADC, Peter Obi of the NDC, Oluseyi Makinde of the APM, Sandy Ojang Onor of the PDP, and Donald Duke of the PRP. Other listed presidential candidates include Rufai Adekunle Omo-Aje, Abbas-Bin Aliyu, Yusuf Kabiru, Omoyele Sowore, Sunday Adenuga, Adebisi Olusoji, Sunday Okereke, Adewole Adebayo, Peter Agada, and Nwanyanwu Daberechukwu.\n\nDaily Trust reports that INEC has cleared former Minister Geoffrey Nnaji to contest the 2027 Enugu State governorship election. Nnaji, appearing as number 13 on the list signed by Rose Oriaran-Anthony, is the PDP candidate. The report notes that Nnaji's candidacy follows allegations regarding forged academic certificates, and according to Daily Trust, the candidate omitted the disputed degree from his submission, instead tendering his WAEC results.",
