"account": "On Day 8 of the Baja XL Rally, our team passed through San Ignacio in Baja California Sur once again. The town was beautiful and vibrant, with small family-owned restaurants and the historic Misión San Ignacio, founded nearly 300 years ago. A fire department arrived in a fire truck and ambulance, welcoming the rally with a siren and a PA announcement. Wilson Craig, a co-organizer of the Baja XL Rally, arranged a fuel donation with Comandante Marco Antonio Berrelleza Castro of the San Ignacio fire department. The rally was organized by Dave Moore and Wilson Craig, who chose the schools in San Ignacio as the charity for the event. Every team brought backpacks and school supplies for the kids, and by the end of the rally, the Baja XL teams had donated enough supplies for all 120 kids in the village's three schools, along with toys, stickers, and soccer balls. The kindness of the people in San Ignacio turned the tide for our team, and we left the town with renewed hope and gratitude.",
