"account": "Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has announced Ghana's New Economy initiative, which aims to tackle unemployment and restore hope among young people, farmers, and small businesses. He emphasized that education alone is not enough to guarantee employment, and that talent without capital remains unfulfilled. Forson stressed that unemployment is a personal struggle, faced by graduates who cannot secure jobs and talented individuals without financial support. He highlighted the plight of farmers who lack reliable markets and small business owners hindered by the cost of credit. The Finance Minister stressed that the burden of unemployment falls heavily on families who invest years of sacrifice in their children's education, only to find their graduates idle at home. Forson rejected the notion that this situation should be considered normal, insisting that Ghana must reject it. He delivered these remarks during a meeting with students and faculty of the University of Development Studies at their Nyankpala Campus.",
"summary": "According to him, the country could no longer accept a situation in which education fails to lead to employment, talent remains unsupported and productive effort yields little opportunity.",
