"account": "Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has announced Ghana's New Economy initiative, aiming to tackle unemployment and restore hope among the nation's people. The plan focuses on addressing the personal struggles faced by graduates unable to find work and talented individuals lacking capital. Dr Forson emphasized the importance of turning education into employment and enabling small businesses to thrive by providing reliable markets and affordable credit. He stressed that no nation should tolerate a situation where education fails to lead to sustainable livelihoods. For families, the burden of unemployment is particularly heartbreaking after years of investing in their children's education, only to see them remain idle at home. The Finance Minister firmly rejected the notion that such hardships should be considered normal, insisting that the New Economy would ensure Ghana no longer accepts such a fate. He shared his thoughts during a meeting with students and faculty from the University of Development Studies at their Nyankpala Campus.",
"summary": "According to him, the country could no longer accept a situation in which education fails to lead to employment, talent remains unsupported and productive effort yields little opportunity.",
