"account": "The pursuit for Malcolm Marx, the World Rugby Player of the Year and a highly sought No 2 in rugby, is intensifying as reports emerge that the Sharks have also entered the fray to secure his services, according to a statement by Afrikaans newspaper Rapport. Marx, a 32-year-old with 93 Test appearances to his name, is currently under contract with the Kubota Spears in Japan, set to expire in June next year. Previously, Marx played for the Shining Arcs in Japan and the Lions in Johannesburg before joining the Sharks. The Sharks currently have a stable lineup with Fez Mbatha, Eduan Swart, Esethu, and Mnebelele as their hooker options. The situation takes a turn following disciplinary issues involving another World Cup winner, Bongi Mbonambi, prompting the Durban union to explore alternative hooker options.",
