"account": "The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has rearrested an 83-year-old woman named Uloma Uchechi Sunday in Abia State, barely a year after her initial conviction for drug-related offenses. On Wednesday, October 7, the agency apprehended Sunday at her residence in Ite-Uzo, Umuaguma, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State. The agency recovered various substances tied around her waist, including methamphetamine and Colorado. According to the NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, Sunday had previously been arrested on May 17, 2025, along with her 32-year-old daughter, Chisom Uchechi, who was also arrested at the same residence. Both pleaded guilty and were sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment or a fine of N200,000 each, which they paid and were released. However, the NDLEA alleges that Sunday returned to the illicit drug trade shortly after her release, setting up a drug joint that housed dangerous characters.",
