"summary": "President John Dramani Mahama concluded his two-day Resetting Ghana Tour of the Ahafo Region on Saturday, assuring the chiefs and people of the region that they would receive their fair share of national development. During a Citizens’ Engagement in Goaso, the President expressed gratitude for the support the NDC received in the 2024 General Election, noting that they won five out of the six parliamentary seats in the region. The nationwide tour aims to bring governance closer to the grassroots, inspect ongoing infrastructure projects, and engage directly with citizens and traditional authorities. Key government interventions and policies highlighted by the President include the Big Push Infrastructure Development Programme, economic recovery efforts, the Free Primary Healthcare Initiative, the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (MahamaCares), the District Assemblies Common Fund, and preparations for Ghana’s 70th Independence Anniversary Celebration. He also addressed agriculture, outlining measures to boost production through poultry farming, the Farmer Service Centres initiative, and irrigation development projects.",
