"account": "President Sheikh Mohamed has decreed that Al Ain International Airport shall henceforth be known as Tahnoun International Airport. The renaming, effective immediately, honors the late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan's long-standing commitment to the nation. Sheikh Tahnoun served as the Ruler's Representative for the Eastern Region of Abu Dhabi's Emirate from the country's inception until his passing in 2024. Flight tracking platform FlightRadar24 confirms two scheduled departures today: a Pakistan International Airlines flight (PK144) from Islamabad and an Air India Express flight (IX336) from Kozhikode. This renaming echoes a similar tribute paid to Abu Dhabi's principal international airport, which was christened Zayed International Airport in honor of UAE's founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, two years prior.",
