"account": "Small businesses struggle to integrate various marketing tasks like Instagram content creation, SEO analysis, lead following up, and campaign evaluation. I developed Marketing Studio to consolidate these functions into a cohesive workspace. Marketing Studio aids a business team in planning and reviewing Instagram posts before publication, auditing website pages for SEO issues, inspecting image alt text, metadata, headings, links, and social signals, transforming Instagram keyword comments into lead follow-ups, and maintaining a human approval step before posting. The product is designed specifically for Instagram, with Facebook publishing not advertised until Meta app review is complete. I built Marketing Studio due to the inadequacies of existing tools that were either too fragmented or too expensive for small teams. While a social scheduler failed to comprehend website context, an SEO crawler neglected the posts being prepared, and a CRM lacked marketing context. My goal was to create a single platform where a business owner could view the entire marketing process, from planning to publishing, and identify any human decisions required. The most challenging engineering aspects were reliability and data state management. A publishing request should not get stuck in an ambiguous status, scheduled posts must remain unchanged until a manual post is retried, each multi-tenant client should only view its own data, and SEO audits must differentiate real crawls from empty results. These elements ensure the tool remains functional and user-friendly after the initial demonstration. The free starter version also includes a complimentary landing page for businesses to direct traffic generated by the platform. Through this process, I have learned three crucial lessons: human approval should be a feature, not a hindrance, when the content represents a real business; operational errors should be visible and actionable rather than concealed behind a generic success message; and small-business software must provide clear explanations for what occurred in plain language. I am continuing to refine the publishing workflow, reporting, and client administration experience. I welcome feedback from founders and marketers managing Instagram and SEO without a sizable team.
