"account": "Taiwanese television host Darryl Kuo has spoken about the hardships he endured following a drug scandal that derailed his entertainment career. The 48-year-old, famous for hosting the red-carpet segment of Taiwan's Golden Bell Awards, faced severe financial difficulties and had to wash dishes at a café to make ends meet. The scandal occurred in 2013 when Kuo was caught smoking cannabis, leading to his downfall in the industry. He withdrew from show business, causing his marriage to end in divorce. Once earning up to NT$1.2 million (approximately RM168,000) per month, Kuo now struggles to make ends meet, sending out CVs but being rejected by employers. After receiving help from an anonymous benefactor, Kuo managed to start a guesthouse in Yilan, which helped him regain stability after years of personal and professional turmoil.",
