"summary": "The Kano State chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged its members to remain calm after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released a final list of governorship candidates without including its candidate, Aminu Abdussalam-Gwarzo. According to the NDC's Public Relations Officer, Yusif Fasaha, INEC attributed the omission to a computer glitch and promised to correct it.\n\nThe list, which contains 17 governorship candidates and their running mates from various political parties, was released by INEC on Saturday. The NDC spokesman assured that Abdussalam-Gwarzo had fulfilled all the requirements for the election and that the party would continue consultations with relevant authorities to resolve the issue.\n\nThe NDC has been assured that another list containing Abdussalam-Gwarzo's name will be released between the time of the statement and Monday, according to Daily Post Nigeria.",
