"account": "Singapore’s largest preschool operator, PCF Sparkletots, announced plans to double its staff development spending to $20 million over the next three years. The investment aims to ease teachers’ administrative workload and focus more on children's education. Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong, a guest-of-honour at the event marking PCF’s 40th anniversary, praised the organization for supporting over a million children and empowering more than 46,000 vulnerable beneficiaries. PCF will expand its services to offer Chinese, Malay, and Tamil in all preschools from 2027, where there is demand. An enhanced centralised model will reduce administrative tasks for educators, allowing them to focus more on teaching. The organization will also share a checklist of classroom practices with the wider sector to support children with diverse learning needs. Gan highlighted the government’s commitment to supporting families, including expanding government-supported preschools and reducing childcare fees. PCF Sparkletots will also grow its eldercare services, with its Sparkle Care arm aiming to achieve 25 senior care centres and active ageing centres by the end of 2027.",
"summary": "The investment by PCF Sparkletots Preschool will support training and development for around 8,000 educators and 500 leaders.",
