"summary": "Yahoo Sports reports that four former Charlotte Hornets players have been listed among the most overpaid in NBA history. Juwan Howard, Nic Batum, Tyson Chandler, and Gordon Hayward all signed significant contracts with the franchise at various points in their careers. Howard, who played his final 39 games with the Bobcats at age 35, signed a seven-year $105 million deal with the Washington Wizards. Batum, who played one season with the Hornets before signing a massive five-year $120 million contract, failed to live up to expectations and was waived by the team. Chandler, who played one season with the Bobcats, was later traded to the Dallas Mavericks and signed multiple deals worth $50 million or more throughout his career. Hayward, signed to a four-year $120 million deal with the Hornets, failed to return to All-Star form and was eventually traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder.",
