"account": "SHANGHAI: Carlos Alcaraz, the Spanish tennis star, defeated Juan Manuel Cerundolo 6-3, 6-3 in the opening match of the Shanghai Masters on Saturday, marking his return from injury and starting his title campaign. The second-seeded Alcaraz showcased a dominant performance to eliminate the 55th-ranked Argentine in just 66 minutes. The 23-year-old, who recently won the Tokyo Open, expressed his satisfaction with his play, acknowledging the challenge of adapting to new conditions following his Tokyo victory. Sporting a fresh moustache, Alcaraz expressed his intention to keep it, initially as part of a bet with his team after winning in Tokyo. He will face Zizou Bergs in the next round. Meanwhile, Daniil Medvedev, the Russian tennis sensation, fought back from an early setback to beat Jan-Lennard Struff 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, marking his first match since being disqualified from the China Open for hitting a spectator. Medvedev, who will face Czech qualifier Dalibor Svrcina next, sent down 21 aces in his victory.",
