"account": "More than 800 people were detained across India on Saturday as police prevented protests demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation over alleged electoral roll irregularities. The largest crackdown occurred in Mumbai, where around 600 supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) were arrested. Tushar Gandhi, the great-grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, was among those detained in the city. Police used drones to monitor the gathering in Nana Chowk and detained protesters who chanted slogans like \"Vote thief, vacate your seat\". In Bengaluru, around 50 left student organization members were taken into custody while marching to the state election commission office. In Chennai, nearly 130 protesters were detained in two incidents, with all being released later. Opposition parties and civil society activists in Goa, Jaipur, and Chandigarh also held demonstrations demanding Kumar's resignation and the cancellation of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.",
