"account": "Congress leader Shashi Tharoor criticized the Narendra Modi-led government's security deployment in Delhi during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest, comparing it to the war-like measures of India's 1975-77 Emergency. Tharoor argued that Gen Z deserved better than the undeclared Emergency, referencing Prime Minister Modi's 2015 remarks about the period. The protest, which sought the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, was met with police and paramilitary deployment, barriers, and internet suspension. Tharoor expressed concern over the restrictions on young people's political expression and called for answers from the government, rather than repression.",
"summary": "In the June 2015 post, PM Modi had said how personally, the Emergency brought back many memories. ‘As youngsters, we learnt a lot during the anti-Emergency movement,’ he had said.",
