"account": "On Saturday, a mass shooting occurred at a house in Erie, Pennsylvania, resulting in the deaths of eight individuals and the shooter, who took his own life. Erie Police Chief Rick Lorah confirmed that seven of the victims were related to the gunman, with the eighth being a family friend. Among the deceased were a 1-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, and a pregnant woman. The 45-year-old shooter's identity has not been disclosed, and the motive behind the attack remains unclear as investigators continue their probe. Erie Mayor Daria Devlin expressed profound sorrow during a press conference, assuring the victims' families that the entire community stands with them in their grief, promising unwavering support. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro conveyed condolences to Devlin, pledging the administration's complete backing following the devastating mass shooting that claimed nine lives in Erie. Shapiro, who has advocated for gun control measures in his state and signed an executive order in 2024 to revive the Pennsylvania Office of Gun Violence Prevention, conveyed his heartache for the affected family and prayed for their loved ones and the entire Erie community.",
