"account": "US President Donald Trump asserted on Saturday that Russian President Vladimir Putin desires to negotiate a settlement in the ongoing Ukraine war. According to Trump, Putin expressed strong preference for a resolution during their phone conversation on Friday. The President of Russia would like to see a settlement, strongly, Trump stated.\n\nHowever, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appears resistant to such an agreement. Trump criticized Zelenskyy for failing to hold an election since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, suggesting that the leader could have resolved the conflict multiple times.\n\nThe tension between the two leaders escalated on Saturday after the United States eased sanctions on Russian diesel. Trump alleged that Zelenskyy disregarded his instructions not to target Russian refineries, arguing that the attacks could exacerbate global fuel shortages resulting from the US-Israeli conflict with Iran. Zelenskyy dismissed Trump's decision as a \"weak decision.\"",
