"account": "Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge has set a new record at the Melbourne Marathon, finishing the race in a time of 2 hours, 9 minutes and 10 seconds. The Kenyan superstar broke away in the final 10 kilometers, leaving competitors far behind. Kipchoge, who has only visited Australia twice, delighted thousands of fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) with his dominant performance.\n\nThomas Do Canto of Australia came in second with a time of 2:10:35, followed by fellow Australian Reece Edwards in third place with a time of 2:15:57. In the women's race, New Zealand's Camille French won with a time of 2:28:25, while Australia's Sinead Diver and Ireland's Nichola Sheridan placed second and third, respectively.\n\nThe 42-kilometer race took participants along St Kilda Road, past Flinders Street Station, around Albert Park Lake, and concluded inside the MCG. Kipchoge, 41, made history by finishing the marathon at a stadium that hosted the 1956 Olympics, 70 years prior. After crossing the finish line, Kipchoge expressed his joy at being part of Melbourne's running community and his excitement to run in his second Australian marathon.",
