"account": "Cal's football team bounced back from back-to-back losses by defeating Virginia Tech 25-20 on Saturday. The Golden Bears were missing several starters due to injuries, including quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, defensive back Kingston Lopa, and running backs Adam Mohammed and Carter Vargas. Despite this, they managed to secure the victory. Backup quarterback Jackson Brousseau stepped in for Sagapolutele and led Cal with a strong final drive that culminated in a 2-yard touchdown run by sophomore Ashten Emory. Brousseau completed 29 of 43 passes for 321 yards and a touchdown. The Cal defense stepped up in the fourth quarter, making a crucial stop on Virginia Tech's final drive. Head coach Tosh Lupoi praised the team's resilience and execution, noting that they had been in five games with four wins and one tie. Virginia Tech, on the other hand, dropped consecutive games after starting 4-0, both losses coming down to the final seconds. The Hokies now have a 1-2 record in the ACC.",
