"account": "Stillwater – Quarterback Drew Mestemaker’s flawless performance against UCF highlighted his newfound ability to avoid turnovers. In a 42-28 victory, Mestemaker remained turnover-free, contrasting his previous struggles in which he turned the ball over in each start. ESPN analyst Jordan Reid predicts Mestemaker as the top quarterback prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft. His recent success was fueled by disciplined play-calling and improved decision-making. OSU’s defensive coordinator Eric Morris noted Mestemaker’s exceptional eyes, accurate ball placement, and better reads, particularly in the Run-Pass Option (RPO) game. The quarterback’s preparation included watching multiple games simultaneously and focusing on his presnap and post-snap processing of defenses. Mestemaker’s performance, marked by 304 passing yards and three touchdowns, showcases his improved efficiency and confidence. The Cowboys’ next game is against Houston on October 17, 6:30 PM at TDECU Stadium, broadcast on Fox.",
