"account": "The 13th-ranked Oregon Ducks faced a quarterback controversy after head coach Dan Lanning benched Dylan Raiola during their loss to the No. 21 UCLA Bruins. The Ducks trailed 17-9 in the fourth quarter, leading to the substitution of Brock Thomas. Raiola, a transfer from Nebraska, entered the game against UCLA with expectations high following his strong performance against USC, where he completed 19-of-25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns. However, his outing against UCLA was far from impressive, as he completed only 6-of-19 passes for 43 yards and threw two interceptions. Oregon also suffered two turnovers from Evan Stewart and Jordon Davison, totaling six turnovers against the Bruins. The poor performance raised concerns about Oregon's offensive issues, which already included six turnovers and an inability to sustain drives. The decision to replace Raiola came after a disappointing game, especially considering his prior success. The next matchup for the Ducks is against Nebraska on October 17, and with Moore's return date still uncertain, Lanning must decide the best course of action for the team's quarterback situation. The team's overall struggles extend beyond the quarterback position, making the coach's response crucial for Oregon's championship aspirations.",
