"account": "US Secretary of State Marco Rubio conveyed his sincere condolences to Japan's Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi following a murder involving a US Marine in Okinawa, according to a State Department readout. The incident occurred in the city of Naha, where a 39-year-old woman was allegedly killed and her wallet stolen. Okinawa's local media reported that the woman was choked to death, and the Marine is denying the allegations. Rubio assured that the United States is committed to working closely with Japan and local authorities to conduct a thorough investigation. Tensions between the two nations have been elevated due to such incidents, which have long fueled criticism of the presence of US troops in Japan, with approximately 54,000 military personnel currently stationed there, primarily on Okinawa. In response to the tragedy, the US military implemented a 30-day curfew, requiring troops to return to their bases between midnight and 5 am.",
