"account": "Geordie Greep, former frontman of Black Midi, is addressing sexual misconduct allegations made against him following an incident during his Vancouver show on Thursday, October 8. Post-show flyers distributed outside the Pearl venue accused him of rape, stating, \"Geordie Greep A Rapist. You know what you did this morning Oct 8th.\"\n\nDuring his performance, Greep acknowledged the accusations, explaining that he and the band had gone out to bars and ended up at a house party where he made a \"wrong move\" that was later misinterpreted. He apologized profusely, emphasizing it was a complete misunderstanding and expressing deep regret. Greep stated he would perform the concert solo to avoid forcing them to play under the circumstances and donated the show's proceeds to an anti-violence organization in British Columbia.\n\nIn response to the allegations, Greep canceled multiple dates on his North American tour, including shows in Boise, Idaho, Salt Lake City, Utah, Boulder, and Denver, Colorado. The final two dates of his tour in Des Moines, Iowa, and Omaha, Nebraska, are yet to be confirmed. Greep is also set to embark on a European tour starting November 1, with stops in the Netherlands, France, Spain, and Portugal.",
