"summary": "Sony has released a new phone microphone, the ECM-AX10, which plugs into a phone's USB-C port to record spatial audio. According to The Gadgeteer, the $249.99 microphone has four omnidirectional capsules and three recording modes, making it suitable for capturing a variety of scenes, such as street performances or games.\n\nIn other news, a modder has released software that allows PlayStation 2 games to be played on jailbroken PlayStation 5 consoles. Tom's Hardware reports that the software, called PS5SX2, is a native port of the popular PCSX2 emulator for PC and uses Vulkan as its backend renderer.\n\nThere is no apparent connection between these developments and earbuds, with one outlet discussing the over-saturation of the earbud market and a specific model, the Status Audio Pro X, which features balanced armature drivers engineered by Knowles.",
