"summary": "Danny Trejo has spoken out about his role in a film produced by the Daily Wire, amid backlash over the movie's reported pro-ICE stance. According to TheWrap, Trejo said he is \"a proud Mexican who has always been and will always be a supporter of my community\" and \"am also obviously pro-immigrant. I am not pro-ICE.\"\n\nTrejo took on the role because it was a positive depiction of a Latino character and a veteran, he told TMZ. He plays the owner of a pawn shop that has been in his character's family for generations and serves as a shelter for an ICE agent.\n\nThe film, which was protested by locals in Livingston, Montana, reportedly dramatizes the January killing of Renée Good and has been described as having a \"pro-ICE\" take on the events. Trejo's involvement in the movie had sparked concern and confusion among his fans.",
