"account": "Geordie Greep, the former frontman of Black Midi, has seen several performances on his U.S. tour cancelled due to sexual misconduct allegations made against him. As of October 10, sets in Boise, Salt Lake City, Boulder, Denver, and Omaha have either been cancelled or no longer listed. A performance in Des Moines remains scheduled, along with a brief European tour planned for November. Greep has not publicly addressed the cancellations, with his representatives contacted by Pitchfork for comment. The disputes began at a Vancouver show on October 8, where a flyer was handed out alleging Greep committed an act of sexual misconduct. During his performance, Greep claimed the incident was a misunderstanding and offered an apology. He stated he would perform the show solo to avoid forcing the band to play, and pledged the proceeds to an organization supporting sexual violence victims. Those affected are encouraged to seek support from resources like RAINN and Crisis Text Line.",
