"account": "Kevin Durant expressed his emotional reaction to Thunder legend Russell Westbrook announcing his retirement from the NBA. Westbrook, known for his triple-double skills, played for multiple teams and made an impact wherever he went. Despite several contending teams showing interest during the summer, Westbrook decided to retire from the NBA suddenly. In a post, he reflected on the end of his career, stating, \"Sometimes you don t even know when you ve already watched the end. You had to be there. And now it s over.\"\n\nSome fans are still struggling to accept Westbrook's retirement, while others believe he could still return to the court. Former Memphis Grizzlies star Zach Randolph believes Westbrook could have another 3-4 years left in his career, suggesting he might play for the Miami Heat. Durant, who played alongside Westbrook during their time with the Oklahoma City Thunder, admitted to being a little sad upon hearing the retirement announcement. He expressed his belief that Westbrook still had a few more years of impact remaining in the game and congratulated him on an iconic career. Despite a brief feud following Westbrook's departure from Oklahoma City, Durant and Westbrook still care about each other's well-being.",
