"account": "Geordie Greep, the singer formerly of Black Midi, has canceled several shows on his US tour following allegations of sexual misconduct. The singer denies the accusations. The cancellations occurred after a show in Vancouver on October 8, where an attendee distributed flyers alleging Greep committed an act of sexual misconduct. Greep addressed the allegations during his performance, stating the incident was a \"complete misunderstanding\" and expressing remorse. Despite apologizing, Greep canceled sets in Boise, Salt Lake City, Boulder, and Denver, as well as his performance in Des Moines and Omaha. The remaining shows in Europe for November are still scheduled. Greep has not released a statement on the cancellations, and his representatives have not commented to Pitchfork. The cancellations come amid ongoing discussions about sexual violence in the music industry.",
