"account": "Islamabad Police has rejected reports alleging the formation of a Punjab-style Crime Control Department (CCD) unit in the city. A spokesperson for the police dismissed the claims as baseless and unverified, stating that no such new CCD-style wing is being established. The spokesperson affirmed that Islamabad Police already possesses dedicated departmental units that effectively carry out their assigned tasks. The city's police force operates specialized units for various policing and investigative functions, such as counter-terrorism and crime investigations, instead of relying on a single new CCD-style structure. This clarification comes as Islamabad Police intensifies efforts to enhance existing policing arrangements, including surveillance, patrolling, and combating criminal activities across different zones. The police have urged citizens and social media users to refrain from disseminating unverified reports and instead rely on official information. The statement was released after claims surfaced on social media suggesting Islamabad Police was preparing to establish a new unit modeled after Punjab’s CCD.",
