A prolific poet with four influential poetry volumes, Olusunle's work has been studied by esteemed scholars such as Sunny Awhefeada, Sola Babatunde, Taofiq Alabi, and many others. His scholarly contributions have been published in numerous journals, books, and festivals nationwide. Additionally, Olusunle has authored five essay compendiums on sociopolitical and human-interest topics, containing nearly 300 essays. On Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Enugu, Olusunle was once again honored with a professional medal. At the Enugu International Conference Centre, one of Enugu State Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah's signature projects, he was among four seasoned journalists inducted as Fellows of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) at the conclusion of the Guild's 22nd All Nigeria Editors Conference. Joining Olusunle were Husseina Akila Bangshika, Ogbuagu Anikwe, and Tunde Rahman. The new Fellows added FNGE to their existing titles, marking another milestone in Olusunle's four-decade career spanning journalism, government communication, academia, and literature.",
