"summary": "Mashable reports that filmmaker Mike Flanagan, known for his Carrie remake, is set to direct The Exorcist: Martyrs, an upcoming installment in the Exorcist franchise. Unlike a remake, this film will explore new territory within the series. The story follows detective Julie Miller, portrayed by Scarlett Johansson, a seasoned expert in serial killers, as she becomes entangled in a murder mystery involving the killing of an altar boy in a church crypt. The trailer hints at supernatural elements, given the Exorcist franchise's reputation for the occult. Other notable cast members include Chiwetel Ejiofor, Laurence Fishburne, and John Leguizamo, who have brief appearances in the trailer. The film is slated for release on March 12.",
