"account": "Ahmad Imanuddin Sumar, also known as Abah, was the headmaster of the Abul Barokat boarding school on the Indonesian island of Lombok. He was detained by police following a BBC investigation into allegations of sexual abuse of students at the school. The BBC's Eye report revealed accusations of sexual abuse against Abah, which he denied but admitted the voice in recorded calls was his. Abah held a news conference where he denied all the allegations, claiming the recordings were not confessions. The investigation was sparked by former students Ziadatur Rahmah (Zia) and Sukma Rohana Fajar who gathered evidence and testified to police. They were initially pressured to withdraw their accusations, but later resumed their efforts with the support of lawyer Joko Jumadi. More students came forward with allegations of abuse, and Abah resigned from the school. NWDI, the organization that ran the school, denied trying to cover up the allegations and said it was investigating them internally.",
