"summary": "Russian President Vladimir Putin relayed Iran's stance on a possible Middle East peace deal to US President Donald Trump in a phone call. The Kremlin reported that Tehran's position was shared, but did not elaborate on the details or Trump's response.\n\nThe phone call occurred as the US was set to buy Russian diesel fuel amid a surge in fuel prices. This deal was seen as a significant development, with Ukraine warning that it would help bankroll Moscow's war in Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed concerns that easing pressure on Russia would allow it to continue fighting.\n\nReports also emerged of ongoing violence in Ukraine, with Russian strikes killing at least 15 people in the Zaporizhzhia region, including three children, and wounding at least 16 others. According to the South China Morning Post, Ukraine's struggles to counter Russian bombardments have resulted in over 60 deaths in the past four days.",
