The majority of the group were masons working in Hyderabad. As they arrived at the beach in three batches over the course of the day, seven individuals ventured too far into the water and were carried away by powerful waves. The remaining members of the group quickly notified the authorities.\n\nThe Singarayakonda police responded promptly, deploying expert swimmers to conduct a rescue operation. Fortunately, three individuals were saved; one is recovering while the other two are hospitalized at RIMS and Aster Ramesh Hospitals in Ongole.
