"account": "Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, an All Progressives Congress chieftain, has refuted allegations that former Zamfara State Governor Abdul’aziz Yari is supporting the African Democratic Congress governorship candidate, Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi. In a statement released on Saturday, Shinkafi clarified that Bilyaminu is his cousin by marriage, being the daughter of the late Umaru Shinkafi. Shinkafi further revealed that Bilyaminu had applied for the APC ticket for the Zamfara North Senatorial District, but the party's screening committee did not approve his nomination for the 2027 elections. Consequently, he joined the ADC to pursue his political aspirations. Shinkafi denounced allegations that these claims were being circulated to tarnish Yari's reputation in light of his appointment as the Director-General of President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign council. Additionally, Shinkafi debunked rumors that eight suspended members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, who recently left the APC, were political allies of Yari.",
