"account": "Edward Davies began his photography journey in 2020, during the lockdown period, seeking a new hobby. His passion for landscapes and nature propelled him to invest more time learning new techniques and editing skills. He specializes in Atmospheric Landscapes and Nature, capturing the rugged hills, waterfalls, and woodlands of Wales, as well as the coasts and dark sky reserves. Davies started his photography career through trial and error, supplemented by online tutorials on YouTube, and has not received formal training. His recent work focuses on showcasing the hidden beauty of Wales, such as waterfalls, woodlands, and coastal paths. While Astrophotography presents the greatest challenge to his skills, the resulting celestial images offer a surreal experience. Among his influences are photographers Marco Pallotti, Filip Hrebenda, and Tom Rae, who inspire him through their use of foreground elements, dramatic compositions, and the ability to detail night sky photography. Davies currently utilizes a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, along with various lenses for different landscapes, and a star tracker for Astrophotography. His ultimate goal is to acquire a Canon EOS R5 Mark II or a Hasselblad X2D 100C.",
