"account": "On Friday, a journalist named Hamurabi Huesca Manzano was assassinated in Mexico, marking the ninth such killing in the country this year, according to the human rights organization Article 19. Huesca Manzano, the proprietor of a news website with over 52,000 followers, was shot in the southern state of Oaxaca, adding to the list of journalistic homicides tracked by Reporters Without Borders. The incident occurred when an armed group opened fire on Huesca Manzano and two others, resulting in his death from gunshot wounds. His website, Pinotepa Comunica, published articles about local politics and issues in Santiago Pinotepa Nacional, his hometown. In addition to his journalism work, Huesca Manzano also worked as a taxi driver. In response to the tragedy, Article 19 called for the prosecutor's office to prioritize Huesca Manzano's journalistic activities in their investigation, emphasizing the perilous nature of journalism in Mexico. The country ranks among the most dangerous places to practice journalism, with more than 150 media professionals losing their lives to violence since 1994, as reported by Reporters Without Borders.",
