The meeting took place after a ten-member delegation from the INDIA group presented a memorandum to the President, demanding the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, suspension of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, restoration of allegedly deleted names from voter lists, and a return to traditional ballot paper voting. Gandhi expressed shock and surprise at Murmu's acceptance of the Opposition's account, stating that he had expected her to deny electoral malpractice and affirm the integrity of India's democratic system. The President's office has not yet released a statement regarding the meeting.",
